Wander to Wandin

This half day trip starts at The Black Spur Inn at Narbethong and explores some local tracks before heading back to Wandin to camp at the site of the Victorian 4WD Show.  Spit Roast dinner is available and camping near our show site. 

This is an opportunity for you to get in early to see the goodies on display on Sunday and spend some time helping out on the stand.

Meeting time and date: 12:00 md, Saturday 20th February 2010, for a 1.30 pm departure after lunch

Meeting Place: Black Spur Inn, Narbethong.

Trip Standard:  Medium. If wet, it could be hard

Number of cars: Maximum of 8

Food and water:  Lunch is available at the BSI or bring your own picnic.  Spit roast dinner available at Wandin 4WD Show campsite for those camping.  So, just need mid afternoon refreshments.

Camping at Wandin is optional.  If you choose to camp, bring appropriate camping gear for overnight.

Vehicle: Your vehicle and equipment are your responsibility. Ensure you are appropriately equipped and that your vehicle is reliable, roadworthy and safe. Good tyres are essential. For this trip, All Terrains with good tread are a minimum.   You should also have a First Aid Kit, snatch strap and shackles, front and rear recovery points are also mandatory as is the usual UHF radio.

Fuel: Full tank out of town will be plenty.
