Timely, with Range Rover 40th Birthday celebrations in Melbourne this weekend...
>>UPDATE<<
Chris Lidis from Land Rover has let us know that there has been a change of plans and the Evoque now has to go back to the UK before the 40th Birthday celebrations. So, it will not be coming to Melbourne for the Range Rover Day after all. Bugger.
While the Evoque would have been great to see, there will still be a fanstastic collection of Range Rovers at Como Park for the Range Rover 40th Birthday celebrations on Saturday 13 November.
For more information about Range Rover Day and the Range Rover 40th Birthday celebrations in Melbourne, 12 to 14 November, see rangerover40th.org.au
These photos of the Evoque and of a blingy D4 bull bar were taken by RRCV club member, Winston Chong, at the Sydney Motor Show.
A nice video from Land Rover UK. A bunch of enthusiasts, with some very special Classics, celebrate the 40th Anniversary with a drive through the wineries in Portugal. Will you be with us celebrating in the Yarra Velley in November?
The Range Rover Restoration is well underway. See new picture galleries from the working bees that shows the progress.

There have been three generations of Range Rover. The original, now known as the Classic, went on sale in 1970 and continued in production, with numerous upgrades and a multiplicity of variants, for just over 25 years.

Long before there were SUVs, the first of the breed was born in Britain.

The Range Rover Restoration project needs some genuine tools to fill in the gaps in the project cars toolkit. The diagram (click for larger) from the original manual shows what should be there - if you have any of those tools at home that you can donate to the project, please let us know.
