Outback First Aid Course
Date and time:
Saturday March 5th, 10:00 - 16:00 (CPR refresher 1000 - 1300)
Sunday March 6th, 10:00 - 16:00
NB: All participants must be double vaxed and show proof of vaccination on arrival at the course.
Accommodation: There are a few accommodation options available at the Black Spur Inn. Please call Di Kennedy (03) 5963 7121 to arrange your accommodation for Saturday night.
Description:
Provide First Aid (HLTAID003) + Outback First Aid variation
Provide Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (HLTAID001)
Online learning
You will be enrolled into online learning to support your education on the day. In a separate email you will receive your login details as well as an enrolment form to complete. Online learning will take approximately 3-4 hours (1 hour for CPR only) and must be completed prior to the face to face session.
Please apply for a Unique Student Identifier (USI), this is inserted in the application form. You may have one from previous years.

Other notes: If you do not wish to obtain a certificate, you will receive a $15 credit to apply towards first aid products
To obtain a certificate students must be able to perform CPR on the ground for 2 minutes.
