Description: Join us for a big day out on the Mornington Peninsula on a rural property. The property belongs to Ian and Glenys and Malkin. Ian is quite knowledgeable about restoring Series Land Rovers. A new RRCV club member, James Lawson will also be assisting on the day. He will bring his Land Rover Perentie 4x4.
There will also be an opportunity to inspect Ian Malkin’s shed which garages a number of Series Land Rovers and 2 Unimogs (one a restoration).
This will be a joint Range Rover Club and Pajero 4WD Club event.
Bring a picnic lunch, drinks & chair and share your 4WD stories and vehicle modifications.

Robert Pepper
Robert Pepper will be discussing the many important aspects of towing, some updates on recovery gear and a Q&A session. Robert will also be bringing his newly published 4WD Glovebox Guide 3rd Edition for you to purchase as well. Robert is an automotive journalist and is a well known presenter.
Sea Shepherd
Peter Markowiec, the Education Co-ordination for the Melbourne Chapter of Sea Shepherd will be chatting about Sea Shepherd, a non profit conservation organisation concerned with the plight of our oceans and the activities that compromise it. Along with pollution and a changing climate Sea Shepherd are endeavouring to show what is going on in the sea and how it affects all of us. Sea Shepherd organises beach clean-ups and education activities. Peter has held a number of roles in the organisation.
Chainsaw Safety
Mark Browne, a trained chainsaw operator, will provide a safety talk on petrol and electric chainsaws.
Fire Extinguisher Safety Talk
2 CFA trained people (Mark Browne and Ian Malkin) will be discussing the safe carrying and use of fire extinguishers in a 4WD environment. There will be a demonstration of the use of a fire extinguisher
