Description: 75 YEARS OF LAND ROVER – Cooma, NSW.
The 75th Land Rover anniversary event will be held in Cooma NSW over Easter 2023. It’s a show for Land Rover collectors, connoisseurs, preservationists, restorers and enthusiasts. Land Rover 75th Cooma brings together the vehicles, the people and the stories behind the global name to celebrate Land Rovers amazing history over the last 75 years.
It is in Cooma where the Land Rover journey really started to take off with many Series 1 Land Rovers involved with the Snowy Hydro Construction Scheme.
Land Rover 75th Cooma sets out to showcase the best examples of the Land Rover in all its guises, from renovated to restored, rare conversions, military derivatives, bespoke conversions and much more.
The star of the show will be Oxford, the Series 1 from the 1st Overland Expedition 1955. It will be on the Classic Land Rover stand along with many other unique Land Rovers from around Australia and the world.
There will also be off-road trials, trips, swap meet, a BBQ dinner on Saturday night, plus a Gala Dinner on Sunday night, and the Grand Parade through Cooma on Easter Sunday.
For members not familiar with the area, I will run some tag-a-long trips exclusively for RRCV.
This is a social trip, not an organised and run trip. Participants will need to book their own accommodation. There is a registration fee for the event and other additional costs depending on what people choose to do.
