Special General Meeting to approve Final Accounts
At our AGM, we agreed to postpone the approval of the club's final accounts until the next meeting, in November.
However, at the time, we did not realise that November's meeting is on the 2nd Tuesday because of Cup Day. We have a legal obligation to lodge the accounts and other details with Consumer Affairs Victoria within one month of the AGM; so the delayed November meeting would be too late.
Therefore we are calling a Special General Meeting at 8pm on November 2nd. This will be a virtual meeting, using Zoom, and the details are at the bottom of this email.
There will be one item on the agenda, which is to review and approve the Final Accounts. The files can be found on the original 2022 AGM page on our website. (you need to be logged in)
Note: The Final Accounts have already been approved by the committee but require a General Meeting to complete the approval process.
The constitution requires 5% of financial membership to achieve a quorum. Please attend this online meeting to ensure we have enough people to reach quorum.
