CruiserKhana is back with $14,000 in prizes and not many competitors. Main sponsors this year are Kaymar and ARB.
We didn't compete for a couple of years because we didn't think the rules were fair - this has now been addressed and I'm happy that we can compete on an "even playing field" again. OK, quite a rough one, but fair.
The competition costs $205 per car, which needs a driver and a navigator - and we need three cars in a team. The coordinator told me that if we get two competitors then he will give us the 3rd for free. i.e. he will give us a 2 for 3 deal.
The prizes are always amazing. with this year's prizes totalling around $14,000. Prizes include a Kaymar Rear Bar (fitted to a vehicle of the winners choice) being award to the Overall Winner.
Nine competition events will be held on Saturday across Morning and Afternoon sessions. The competitors with the highest score for each of these events is awarded a prize with results collated for the Individual overall winner and Team category.
Optional events will be run on Saturday and Sunday and these will be scored as individual events. Optional events will not be included in the calculation of Individual and Team scores.
Plus, the Friday Night Drive is being run again this year.
This year, the CruiserKhana committee has decided to replace the Vehicle Class categories with a handicap system based on vehicle attributes.
Entries are per vehicle (Driver and Navigator). Vehicles cannot be shared.
Please check www.cruiserkhana.com.au regularly, as we will be posting more details leading up to the actual event.
You can register here but I suggest you sign up here as EOI to see if we can get a team together.
This will be self-run event because I'm away but feel free to contact me to discuss it.
NOTE: This is a fully insured event so there is no need to sign up non-members as temporary member.
