CruiserKhana is an exciting technical challenge made up of competition (scored) events and optional events. It is an annual event run by the Toyota Landcruiser Club of Australia (Victoria) at their property near Yark

CruiserKhana is open to all 4WDers, so don't miss this great annual event.

Program of Events

Each event is carefully designed to test your skill without using speed and damage to your 4WD.  Each vehicle requires a driver & a navigator, with each person in the 4WD having their own responsibilities to ensure you earn high points for each event.

  • Friday CFA BBQ - proceeds going to YARCK CFA
  • Friday Night Drive - Optional fun event for all ages - You never know what you'll see around our Yarck Property.
  • Saturday - 6 events - Happy Hour at the end of the day (BYO Drink) - Raffles - Saturday Night Dinner.
  • Sunday - 3 Events - Rock Climb is Optional - Overall winners announced

Entry fee includes breakfast both days and Saturday night dinner.  Entry fee for each person in the vehicle.  Driver and navigator who can swap positions in vehicle throughout events if they wish.

Spectators welcome for the day or to camp - this will be limited numbers.  Entry fee is for insurance. 

CFA BBQ Friday evening $5.50 sausage and soft drink, onions on top or bottom whatever you wish :) 

Merchandise for the event will be a presale and some items over the weekend.

Raffle tickets will be posted online and sold before the Saturday night dinner.

For people wishing to camp on the property, campsites will be allocated based on setup.

Vehicle must be roadworthy.

Navigator does not require a license if not driving. 

Enter as a team entry or individual entry.

This is a fun event so come along as a team, dress up, enjoy a laugh. Giveaways throughout the day for people just having a go and enjoying this great event.

Weather:  Spring in Victoria – who knows.  Review the Yark - Yea weather forecast leading up to the trip and bring appropriate clothing, footwear and camping gear.

Equipment:  Below are the recommended vehicle requirements.  If you are not sure if your vehicle is suitable for a trip, please have a chat with the trip leader.

A well-maintained vehicle with normal road tyres are OK for this trip (All Terrain tyres would be preferred),

Additional Equipment required:  Camping gear food and drinking water for 2 days / 2 nights.  Clothing for wet and cold conditions.   

No pets or firearms

Fuel:  a full tank ex Yea

Duration: 2 days

Convoy limit: no limit

Meeting arrangements:  The CruiserKhana event is held at the TLCCV property near Yarck, in north east Victoria, less than a two hour drive from the outskirts of Melbourne.

Signs to the event are displayed from the Yarck Hotel on the Maroondah Highway from midday on Friday, October 18th 2024.

Yarck can be accessed from the northern and western suburbs of Melbourne via the Hume Highway, turning off at Seymour or Tallarook.  Access from Melbourne’s southern and eastern suburbs is through Lilydale by either the Melba Highway through Yarra Glen and Yea, or the Maroondah Highway through Healesville and Alexandra.

Club Guest Registration policy:  It is club policy in regard to insurance cover that if a member brings any non-members on the trip they must be registered and have paid the required fee as Temporary Members BEFORE the event. 
i.e.  non- members can no longer register on the day with the trip leader.

Also if a non-member wishes to bring their own vehicle, the member inviting the non-member must contact the trip leader for approval to bring the vehicle. Such approval will take into account skills of the driver, suitability of the vehicle and whether or not a place within the convoy limit is available for a non-member's vehicle.
